About Us

The Nuno Sacramento Art Gallery was founded in 2003, with the opening of it's first gallery in Aveiro. In 2009, it moved to a new space especially designed for a contemporary art gallery in Ílhavo, where it has been operating ever since. It annually develops about six individual and three collective exhibitions in the areas of painting, sculpture, photography, installation and video. The gallery is dedicated to the promotion of culture, not only through its exhibitions, but also through the edition of catalogues of plastic artists and the exhibited pieces enhanced with prefaces of accredited art critics and writers.
